A Stunning Work
This is a stunning history/personal memoir by Hawaii-born Moore, author of four other books. It captures the layered and complicated history of the Hawaiian Islands and at the same time deftly blends in the author's contemporary perspective. A page-turning must-read for anyone interested in Hawaii, or not.

Laura III review
This is a great little book of poetry that shows children the experience and reactions of different events. I thought the author did a good job showing the multicultural in the book. The poems were short and easy to read. This would give a child of younger age the freedom to read it without much difficulty. The author allowed the character to had situation where they could explore their own world around them. The poems also showed how special the family was to these characters and the special talent they processed. The illustration were very bright and cheerful. They allowed you to "smile" and feel good about reading the poems. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone.

I Will Be Your God: How God's Covenant Enriches Our Lives
Published in Paperback by P & R Press (October, 2002)
Author: T. M. Moore
Average review score:

A Covenantal Way of Life!
T. M. Moore's book is a welcome and valuable companion to O. Palmer Robertson's 'Christ of the Covenants'. The book describes well that the Biblical way of life is understood as the covenantal way of life. This book should stimulate our thinking, as well as remind us of our identity as people who belong to Christ's church at the beginning of the 21st century. This books reminds us of the great and precious promises of the Living God toward us in Christ and how we should walk, talk, and live day in and day out in the covenant. The chapters are developed well and biblically informative. There is a chapter on the Covenant of Promise, the Covenant of Glory, the Covenant and the Kingdom, the Church, the Covenant Community, Worship in God's Covenant, and an extrememly practical chapter on Covenant Living in a Postmodern World. For anyone in Christ's church, this book will be the source of much thought, bible studies, and sermons! For those who are studying for ordination, or planning to be a minister, it is an excellent resource for getting a biblical overview of the covenant as well as the practical implications for the Christian life. Read it!

The Importance of Being Ernest
Published in Paperback by Christian Focus (August, 2003)
Author: Mike Moore
Average review score:

Great stuff!
Ernest Lloyd is a wonderful gentleman; gracious, gentle, kind and with a real compassion for lost souls. This is his story, but it is more than his story. It is a history of modern mission to the Jewish people in a life that spans the 20th century. For 70 years Mr Lloyd has travelled the world, preaching in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Singapore, and all points in between.

Full of stories of personal encounters this book is a joy to read, and has a lot to teach us about how we do our evangelism. But more than being a history of mission to the Jewish people it is a record of the grace of God in extending his Kingdom, first to the Jew and then to the Gentile.

An encouraging read.

In The Sporting Tradition: The Art of Herb Booth
If you are into the out of doors and enjoy hunting and fishing then this is a book for you. The art of Herb Booth featured in the edition is outstanding. Not only do you get a fine insight into this artist but are shown the excellent examples of his work as well. The book is filled with oversized high quality color plates showing almost fifty of his pieces. Although wonderful in itself you also get almost 100 black and white line drawings that support the main featured art. These range from fish to birds to hunting dogs. You will also find many of the etchings that Mr. Booth is so famous for. This publication has quickly become a valued addition to my library. I could not be more please with it's quality and content.

The Incredible Moving Picture Book
Published in Paperback by Dover Pubns (October, 1989)
Author: Frank J. Moore
Average review score:

A wonderful book I truly recommend for children of any age!
This is a wonderful book! It consists of black and white line drawing pictures that you move an acetate panel (or some sort of screen) over. This makes the images, amazingly, seem to come alive. Water flows, fire burns. Things move. The images are fascinating, not just for younger children, but perhaps especially for older children. It's truly a book that needs to be seen, because words cannot describe it. The concept of moving pictures with the paper-flat screen is amazing. I've searched everywhere to find this book again that I had as a ten-year-old, and finally found it here, almost a decade later. Still, the images the book presents linger in my mind.
